from Victor Hugo

There are thoughts which are prayers.

There are moments when,

whatever the posture of the body,

the soul is on its knees.

~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thought is the blossom;
language the bud;
action the fruit behind it.

by Lin Yutang

If you can spend a perfectly useless afternoon in a perfectly useless manner,

you have learned how to live.

..a mess

I'm always a mess.
I can never keep my own secrets.
I laugh too hard at stupid things.
My favorite songs can make me cry.
I always watch for 11:11, but miss it more than I notice it.
I live in the past, in the memories I have with the people I love.
I hate thinking about reality and I'm so homesick that it's not even funny.
But not homesick in a missing my house kind of way, maybe it's more like heartsick for all the things that I can't get back.
It's hard for me to define myself, I guess I'm just a cliche.
The girl who loved too hard & didn't get anything in return.
I don't want to be the heroine in some tragic love story.

from Judy Garland

for it was not into my ear you whispered,
but into my heart.

It was not my lips you kissed,
but my soul.

by Bruce Lee

Love is like friendship caught on fire.
in the beginning a flame,
very pretty,
often hot and fierce,
but still only light and flickering.

As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love
becomes as coals, deep-burning and

unquenchable.

Yes,

I am a strong person,
but every now and then

I also need someone to
take my hand and tell me

everything will be ok.

When you really matter to someone,

that person will always
make time for you.

No excuses,

no lies, and

no broken promises
